Few Mistakes Students Make While Exam Registration:
Here’s a list of FAQs students have come up with at Prof. Sheetal Kunder Academy:
Which NISM series to opt for if I just want to gain basic knowledge of the stock market?
We recommend going for NISM XII - Securities Market Foundation which gives an overall outlook of the market. After completing this series you understand in which area (banking, insurance, broking, or research) your interest lies.
So you can do your further specialization in the relevant NISM series.
Do we get a job in SEBI after passing NISM?
SEBI has its recruitment process and doesn't mandatorily require NISM certification.
Calculator allowed for the exam?
Physical calculator is allowed in the exam. Don't carry a scientific calculator as it reduces the speed because of small keys.
Only two places you require scientific calculator, to calculate PV and FV and to calculate CAGR, and for that you can use screen based calculator’s scientific version.
Secondly never even think of using screen based calculator because it will kill lot of your time and you might make lots of mistakes also.
Does NISM provide plain paper for rough work?
You can use your hall ticket back side , at centre they do provide paper but you need to submit it back while leaving the exam hall.
When NISM exams are conducted?
It depends which city you belong to. In Mumbai, exam is every day conducted but it certain type of cities exams are conducted once a week.

We provide job assistance to students plus we suggest students check on LinkedIn regularly about finance jobs.
What is the scope of copying in exam?
Copying is the guaranteed way to fail and lose your time, energy & your parents money.
In your future finance job, you won’t be able to copy others strategy and gain the same results or won’t be able to build your firm with optimal results.
How much percentage are considered good in NISM?
70 to 85% is considered good and above that excellent. This exam will brush up your finance skills and will give you the track to become competent in your finance domain.
Should I take mock test practice from my college?
If your college provides the MCQs practice, do it. If you’re thinking of purchasing different MCQs sets from different online sources, you’re risking your exam fee and preparation time. Here’s the exact comparison we’ve attached for all the NISM Series and PSKA has the most exam oriented questions.
